So here’s the problem with having more than one child – you basically have to buy them all the same thing because somethings are just hard to share…like a piece of chewing gum, one movie seat, or the coolest device that they’ve ever seen – like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Tablet.
Well basically, my kids are not fighting over the Samsung Galaxy- I AM the one keeping it for myself since I do not have GPS in my car, so I love the mapping application to help me with my drive..and 2600 miles I have yet to get lost…well except maybe that one time when I let Astrid take the tablet for some cake decorating game. “Hey Mom, sorry we are lost in Boston, but look at the rainbow cake that I made for you that you cannot eat!”
The craziest(most awesome) thing about the Samsung Galaxy so far though, was that when it came in the mail, Eloise just tour it open and figured out how to use it immediately. She downloaded many games, knew how to use the applications, got her email working and basically then had to train me on what to do – you know, her ‘old’ mom. I love how user friendly it is for kids ages 3 to 300. Seriously, it’s crazy easy…and we LOVE the S pen feature – as this makes it even easier for the little ones to be precise on the screen…and the Samsung Galaxy is SOOO light and the perfect size. I love the 8″ tablet size. It’s been a clear winner in the ‘tablet war’ we’ve had in the two weeks we’ve been on our epic road trip. I’m so glad we’ve had this to make our trip even easier.
My kids also love the great color and the perfect light on the screen, and of course the ability to load and take their favorite pictures. They’ve also taken the silliest videos during our drive. I’m kind of afraid to watch them. The size of this tablet and it’s very light weight has made it a great tool for picture taking for the kids during our trip.
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet has been amazing to have on our trip, and now I know when we return home it will be a wonderful tool for work and school also, with great organizational and office features as well as education games and internet and social media access. It will get the most use of any tablet we own…now how to afford three of them…
