You want to know what to wear to a blog conference? The answer is quite shocking…
…you should wear what you are comfortable in, and in a way that you want to present yourself.
********
I saw a huge range of fashion at Type A this past weekend – from shorts, jeans, and leggings to sundresses and skirts. From fancy to casual. And truthfully it all worked.
I am a dress girl – even at a motorcycle rally on a Sunday…so guess what I’m comfortable wearing and guess what I wore all weekend….dresses! It works for me.
So here’s what I wore to Type A Parent Conference:
Sweater from Anthropologie
Black tank top from H&M
Wrap skirt from Anthropologie
Belt thrifted
Coral Abagale Wedges from Fossil purchased at Karma
Out to Dinner with Brica
I just changed my skirt to my favorite Kayla gauze skirt from Anthropologie because it was wickedly hot in Charlotte.
Coral belt from H&M
I wore the bicycle dress from Anthropologie that I love
Belt from H&M
Wedges from Fossil that I wore on the flight
Friday night 80′s Just Dance party sponsored by The Clever Girls and Ubisoft. I was on an 80′s dance team and decided to reclaim my 1987 style and hair.

Anyway – shirts that our team leader painted for us
Socks, earrings, and Converse from Target
Legwarmers from Matilda Jane Clothing
Scrunchie from Esther’s hair accessory bin(don’t tell her)
..and wait for it – Neon Green fringe skort from Justice. Oh yes I did wear a skirt from Justice. Please don’t tell on me. (Also don’t tell Eloise that the next time she sasses me that I will wear this puppy in front of her friends. Oh yeah!)
By the way – our team rocked it and we came in second place and I still can move like Jagger or something like that.
Cupcake Dress from Matilda Jane Clothing
Belt from Anthropologie
Gold wedges from Nordstrom Rack
Sunday Conference Sessions(and home on the plane)
Spearmint Dress from Matilda Jane Clothing
Gold wedges from Nordstrom Rack

So what do you wear to blog conferences? Please don’t tell me neon green skirts from Justice. (but you can totally borrow mine)

The original 80s photo nearly sent coffee from my nose – just beautiful. The anthropology sweater is TOO cute! If I ever go to a blog conference, I’m totally referencing this. Also – I bought a skirt two days ago at old navy and thought of you as I did so. I am such a jeans girl – but I wore the skirt yesterday and you know what? It was pretty fab!

Oh I am so glad you wore a skirt. I owe you an email! I got it when I was at TypeA and I’m so far behind. xo
Love the bicycle and cupcake dresses!
I’ve never been to a blog conference, but if/when I do go, I would probably also wear flowy dresses or skirts just because they’re comfortable, flattering, and pretty.

You’re adorable.
My fashion is going to live vicariously through you.
I have been loving dresses this summer (which is quite new for me), but I must say you rock your clothes way better than I ever could.
Hope you had a good time!

You can pull it off so beautifully.

I am dress, skirt kind of girl, I went to BBC and I wore dressy clothes to all the events, for BlogHer I am wearing lots and lots of skirts (or dresses)…and heels/wedges. I just feel better dressed up.

Visiting from The Pleated Poppy!
How awesome is it that you can actually fit into something they sell at Justice. Not many mommas could say that.

I LOVE that bicycle dress.
I’m far more comfortable in skirts and dresses than in pants – I’m 5’2″ and can seldom find a pair that fit me well.
I like that you emphasize comfort. It makes everything else so much easier.
PS Are you going to BlogHer? WHAT ARE WE WEARING?
Suniverse recently posted..It’s all about the boobies, bitches
Yes – BlogHer baby!!! (Don’t tell anyone but I’ll probably wear these same dresses…shhhh)
I love that you got to work a Justice skirt into your wardrobe! I just showed my girls and they are loving it! They are both so into the 80s right now. I’ve even crimped their hair a few times.
You look great in everything. You have such amazing taste in clothing.

You looked beautiful every day and Im so glad I saw all those outfits in person! My personal favorite is the Spearmint dress, but the bicycle one is a close second. And I love that you wore a Justice skirt
You looked amazing for 80s night and your cheerleader jump was BAD ASS. You are a hot, sassy mama. Love you!!!

Oh I hope to see you at BlogHer!
Dammit. Now I want to wear dresses everywhere. And I also want to be tall and skinny. Let’s make that happen.

I was thinking of wearing dresses to blogher . . . though I think I’m sticking with the suit/no tie approach. I think that fits me, even if I’m one to always wear shorts over pants.
And I love that bicycle dress on you. You look really good in it.

I love them all, but I think the green dress is my fave. Not the green neon, by the way.
I thought of you the other day when I bought a pair of capri pants in dark cranberry red. Tracy would never approve.
