Four years ago I started a blog.
This was the first picture I posted. A toddler, a preschooler and The Donut Cat who is now dead. I started this blog out of a need for a bit of therapy after loss after loss. It helped.
Two years ago I left blogger for wordpress and decided to join some blogging communities instead of just blogging for my mother.
This was the last picture I posted on my old blog. You can see I had a baby. She was a miracle.
Two years later I’ve started a company with an amazing friend and am a freelance writer.
I also now have a toddler, a first grader and a third grader. Who are these big kids.
And because we all know that mom bloggers just blog for our kids, right…well my kids did something special for me for my blogiversary….they would love for you to watch. Because it’s ALL about the kids…(well let’s just keep trying to convince them that it is..sometimes we just have to lie…)

It was almost a year ago that I went to lunch with my sister Nancy who is not a blogger (we met up to see Cheryl at Listen To Your Mother) and out of nowhere Nancy said, “Have you seen Sellabit Mum? She’s hysterical.”
My sister. Who doesn’t read blogs. But I guess she was checking some out and found yours and sent me to you. Because she’s damn smart. She’d wear a hat on her face, too.
So I have to thank Nancy. Because if she weren’t my sister, I would want you to be. Hell, I still do. Just don’t tell her that.
