Just don’t spread glitter in my house because that shit drives me crazy. Give Jill some glitter on my post – I’m sure she loves to do glitter crafts. Or not. Okay, don’t tell her I told you to sprinkle her with glitter. It’s our little secret.

First time over and laughing my head off! We are very anti-wire hanger here. Very. And I’m quite anti-glitter as well. Fricking sticks to everything. And found some in my kid’s diaper the other day. Kind of disturbing. On the other hand, I can see that she’s trying to accessorize, so that’s good….

Sqqquueeeee!!!! Tracy you are so LUCKY! Guest posting for Scary Mommy is on my Bucket List. Seriously. I also knew I liked for you for a reason. I too had my last baby the days after my 40th birthday. Sister! I try very hard to not act my age…but I still get the occassional “hanging with the grnadkids today?” questions.

Glitter is my nemesis! With girls it’s hard to keep it out of the house, especially when they’re craft-making girls like mine are but damn it makes me wanna scream. My drink of choice is margaritas (and yup, I’ll have them during the week and be mad that I can’t get up on time for work the next morning, but I’ll still have another the next day).

Ha! I’d never read your minivan post. You make driving a minivan sound so chic and glamorous – basically, the exact opposite of how I’ve always perceived them. But I cracked up at the line about driving a toaster down the street. That’s exactly what they look like!

I am visiting from Scary Mommy ~loved your post! I can totally relate…I’m 42 with a 3 yr old. I double can’t stand glitter!!! I had a senior moment and bought some for my kids this past Christmas…I am still cleaning those little hidden pesky pieces. haha.

Loved your Scary Mommy society post. It inspired me to write my own post for Scary Mommy Society even though I’m a dad blogger.
I get all kinds of strange reactions for being a stay-at-home dad. Some are flattering, some are annoying. It just so happens that Mom is the bread winner and I’m the primary care-taker. Nothing special or noble about that.
